  Author Amy Eilert is a self-taught mini cake designer whose love of baking and working with her hands found a perfect outlet in cake making. She founded Cupcake Envy in Wake Forest, North Carolina in 2006.  She has traveled throughout the US and Canada teaching exciting cakelet designs at cake conventions and hosted venues.  Her cakes have made a big splash both locally and nationally with appearances on DailyCandy.com, The Food Network, Brides Magazine and the Ugly Betty show.  Amy Eilert recently published a how to book for creating fun cakelet designs available at book stores and Amazon.  Zane Beg is a shining star in cake decorating with no formal training, but with an unlimited creative sense. He has worked on cakes for twenty years and shown no sign of slowing down. He loves to create cakes that have great movement and flow to them. In addition to decorating cakes, Zane enjoys traveling to teach and demonstrate. He specializes in detailed, hand-painted cakes and molded chocolate. He also creates beautiful bows and accessories with Choco-Pan. You can find his work in The Washington Post, America Cake Decorating, and Edible Artist Network, Washingtonian, Pastry Art & Design Magazine, People Magazine (A Cake From Every State where he was chosen to represent VA).

  Zane is a real estate broker in Virginia and is co-owner of Norm & Zane The Sweet Life LLC.
  Zane has participated in thirteen Food Network Challenges; on his first solo challenge, he took 2nd place (should have taken 1st) and four with TLC/Discovery  (Ultimate Cake Off). He has demonstrated at ICES conventions and Cake & Sugar Artists of Northern Virginia meetings. His work has also appeared in many publications. He designed the detailed painting, food styling, layout and editing of the book, Wedding Cake Ensembles. Look for his work in the upcoming book that he is co-authoring with Norman R. Michelle Sohan is a cake artist from Trinidad and has been blessed as one of the top cake artist of her country with her undying passion for cake decorating evolved out of her love for art. Her love of drawing, painting, and making things with my hands made it so easy to transfer this knowledge into cake.

Michelle has been at the forefront of the specialty cake industry in her country of Trinidad .  Currently she is on The National Board of National Training Agency of Trinidad and Tobago working with the government to develop standards for cake baking and decorating. Michelle is known as the “local cake diva of Cakes” as she presents cakes that move, light up, are sound activated , and with some remarkable original designs. Her passion to create helps her exceeds all expectations in designing and creating beautiful pieces, much to the surprise and disbelief of her customers.

She has been featured in several magazines including: Marriage Bliss, Caribbean Wedding Belle, WOW Magazine, Caribbean Runway, Cake Central, America Cake Decorating, and Edible Artist Network. She has competed at The National Capital Area Cake Challenge in 2014 and won alongside Zane Beg.

Michelle has just obtained her Master's Certificate in cake decorating from the Knightsbridge PME School of Confectionery Artsis.
